Mindful Dog Workshop
Promoting canine wellbeing through the senses
Canine Academy, Tollerton, Nottingham
Due to the coronavirus lockdown this event will be rescheduled when it is safe to do so
Would you like to improve your dog's wellbeing?
Interested in enhancing his/her life in a positive way?
In this unique one day workshop we will be looking at ways to promote wellbeing, calmness and balance in our dogs, by working with all their senses in a holistic way. Focusing on sight, smell, sound, touch, taste and hearing, we will examine ways in which we can enhance our dogs' experiences, effect their view of the world and positively impact our relationship with them.
And if that's not enough, we will also be looking at techniques to promote calmness at the other end of the lead too!
Please note, the day is a mixture of theory and practical canine and human activities. In the interests of canine comfort all dogs will need to be able to settle and rest in their own cars between sessions, as we will be working with them on an individual basis. If you are unable to leave your dog in the car for periods throughout the day then please do not book a handler place.
Handler places - £65 (limited number)
