Puppy/Beginner Dog Classes, Derby

A weekly course of 6 x 1-hour sessions teaching good behaviours and life skills using fun reward-based dog training methods. A great starting point for all young dogs and puppies, which works on relationship building so your dog WANTS to do what you want it to do.

Training includes how to prevent puppy biting/chewing, jumping up, toilet training, good social behaviour between your dog and other dogs/people. Exercises such as sit, down, loose lead walking, wait, stay, calm greetings, leave it and recall will also be covered.

We include fun elements to develope your relationship with your dog, enhance your training and promote mental stimulation. We also include appropriate play, the beginnings of trick training and fun games to play with your dog.

Weekly handouts are provided, as well as access to private Facebook training group with video tutorials, and email/telephone support is available, outside of class, throughout the course.

Upon completion of the course you can book onto our higher level course if you wish to advance your training.
